Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Md Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul held an opinion exchange meeting with the tax officials of the corporation at his office recently, says a press release.
He urged all the employees to work with sinceriry and honesty. He also asked the tax fixing officials to be conscious in discharging their duty so that the people of the municipal area can appreciate their role.
The mayor also expressed his wish to work hard with the people to make the city beautiful and developed one. He sought cooperation of all in this regard.
Panel Mayor-2 Nuruzzaman Tito, finance and establishment committee president Mushtaq Hossain Ratan, city infrastructure building and maintenance committee president Belal Ahmed, executive magistrate Khandaker Mahabubur Rahman and concerned officials and employees were present.
Another report says: Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul attended the namaj-e-janaza of Abdus Sadik of Ward No. 18, Ahammadnagar, in front of Ahammadnagar Jam-e-Mosque after Asr prayers on Wednesday. Abdus Sadik was father-in-law of journalist Rezaul Karim Raju.
The mayor expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members of Abdus Sadik and prayed for his eternal peace.
